Wideroe are a Norwegian airline and have a long history dating back to the early 1930’s.
In May 1995 Wideroe offered a summer route from Bergen to Sumburgh.
Sumburgh Airport saw Wideroe flying in again twice a week during the summer in 2004 and 2005 offering flights to Bergen.
They are the largest regional airline operating in the nordic countries with 47 destinations and 42 Dash 8 aircraft.
